With over five hundred animals (view list) - from colorful birds to camels to bear and deer, the ZOO has a variety of animals and activities that are sure to please the whole family. We also have one of the Adirondack's finest variety of gifts and souvenirs!
Located in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, near Sacandaga Lake in Fulton County, this 80 acre ZOO/Wildlife Park is only minutes north of the New York State Thruway on Route 30 North.
We have many black top pathways but not all areas of the zoo are handicapped accessible.

Hours & Admission (as of 8/11/08)
Regular hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The zoo is open every day, mid May thru Labor Day. Please note that the Zoo starts putting animals in for the night at 4 p.m.. Ticket sales cease one hour prior to closing time.
General Admission Prices:
Adults (ages greater than 12 years) - $11.75Children (ages 12 mos. - 12 years) $8.75Children under 12 months old are free.

The place was better then I expected. Easy parking and very cozy. The zoo part is shady so no worry about being hot. Lots of picnic tables.
